	28 Nov-15 Dec '07. Major road trip! This was 540 mi (869 km). He stopped at a coastal lagoon on 1-2 Dec that looked like a really likely spot, but he pushed on and eventually made his way back to familiar ground. This is a pattern we've seen with a number of birds. They find a spot they like and then explore, returning to the area they know.
